Well, the Options team is excited to meet YOU! The scope of our work is vast and great, and there are numerous ways to get involved, big and small, each of which is richly valuable.

* Options is part of Christian organization, Montreal Youth Unlimited, and as such, offers whole-person services which may include optional spiritual care. Therefore, certain positions at Options which offer these elements of care are reserved for individuals who are followers of Jesus.   • ABRITER Program Coordinator

    (Full-time; Deputation; French or bilingual required)

    The Abriter Program Coordinator promotes a nurturing home that supports a healthy pregnancy and positive parenting. This individual serves as a role model for participants and must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and organizational skills.

  • OPTIONS Ministry Support

    (Full-time; Deputation; French or bilingual required)

    Ministry Support focuses on three main areas: Reception, administration, and program support. It is the key position that links clients with the support they need to be equipped, empowered, and encouraged, and provides structure and support for program quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.

  • OPTIONS Parenting Program Facilitator

    (Part-time; Deputation; French or bilingual required)

    The Parenting Program Facilitator will have as their main objective the implementation of parenting programs to meet the needs of clients and the community.

  • OPTIONS Adoption Support Coordinator

    (Part-time; Deputation; French or bilingual required)

    The Adoption Support Coordinator will have as their main objective the development and implementation of programming to support birth parents throughout the adoption process, including support following placement.

  • OPTIONS Support Worker

    (4-12 hours per week; Volunteer)

    Support Workers will provide ongoing care to clients as needed to address identified challenges, will be familiar with the services and educational materials available at the centre, and will be able to connect clients to these as well as services offered within the community. Support Workers will pray regularly for clients and staff of the centre.

 

DEPUTATION MODEL

Options is part of a faith-based organization, Montreal Youth Unlimited, which offers ministry positions based on a deputation model. This means that staff members are personally responsible for fundraising for their ministry expenses.

STUDENT SUMMER INTERNSHIPS/ TEMPORARY POSITIONS

Some positions offered by Options are salaried in the traditional way. These positions are generally linked to a grant or scholarship and are temporary.
